String Jewellery + Hunter Kit
A video about training Magic by casting String Jewellery and Hunter kit. These spells give 83 and 70 xp in Magic respectively. String Jewellery also gives 4 xp in Crafting per cast.String Jewellery requires 80 Magic and Hunter kit 71. Dream Mentor quest must be completed in order to cast these spells. For the String Jewellery spell you need 2 astral runes, 10 earth runes and 5 water runes. For the Hunter Kit spell you need 2 astral runes and 2 earth runes. You should wear a (Mystic) Mud staff as they provide unlimited water and earth runes which will reduce the cost alot. Assuming that you buy unstrung gold amulets for highest and sell the strung ones for lowest which makes the loss 14gp + 660gp for 4 astral runes which makes the total cost about 674gp. You gain 153 xp in Magic for both spells so that will make it 674/153 = 4.4gp/xp. If you use unstrung symbols the gp/xp ratio will be higher since the difference between unstrung and strung symbols is higher. This will make it ~5gp/xp. Apart from each other String Jewellery and Hunter Kit are 4.1gp/xp and 4.7gp/xp respectively.Put your astral runes in your inventory. Withdraw 14 unstrung symbols or amulets and close the bank. Click on String Jewellery and wait until you see the first 87xp on the XP Counter. Now click on the Hunter Kit. Do this everytime as soon as you see the 87xp on the XP Counter. Count 13 Hunter Kit casts and wait for the last amulet/symbol to be stringed. Then open bank, deposit amulets/symbols and the hunter kits. Repeat. It takes 1.8 seconds (3 game ticks) to string an amulet/symbol. Casting Hunter Kit takes 1.2 seconds (2 game ticks) and must be cast while you are stringing an amulet or symbol. It doesn't interrupt the stringing. Try casting it as soon as the 87 appears on the XP Counter. This method is about 200-250k xp/h, depending on the speed you can bank and how many mistakes you make. The more you focus, the more xp/h you will get. Obviously.
